We're a community of 20, small enough to be aware of your personal requests, large enough to offer you professional assistance.

Bring along your favorite items of furniture and the household goods that help make your apartment your own. But, you'll also appreciate the amenities that are part of Rebekah Haven, because they offer comfort, safety and security. You can enjoy your freedom and independence, but companionship is close by through activities and outings.

This is certainly a complex decision for the entire family. Both our building and our program have been planned to offer ease of living to those who need some limited assistance; we want to find the right fit for our clients just as much as you do.

We welcome all questions you have about our facility, our program and Rebekah Haven's philosophy of care.

Your Home

Every apartment has a full bath (a 4-foot walk-in, sit-down shower) and kitchen with a 2-burner stovetop, microwave and a refrigerator.

All basic utilities except telephone are included. Heat and air conditioning are controlled individually within each apartment. Basic cable TV is included. The entire building is equipped with fire-suppression sprinklers.

Emergency call systems are available in the bathroom and sleeping area of each of our 20 apartments; Rebekah Haven maintains 24-hour awake staff supervision. There's an individual storage unit in the basement for every Rebekah Haven tenant. There are individual locked mailboxes in the first floor entryway.

You may choose to cook in your own apartment, or join us in the dining room. The meals are prepared at Odd Fellow Home under the direction of a dietician and served in the living room at Rebekah Haven.

Our basic services include:

• Nine hours of personal, supportive and nursing services
• Three small meals
• Linens laundered and/or basic apartment cleaning weekly
• Daily assistance with dressing, grooming and bathing Health monitoring; care planning by a registered nurse
• Planned social and wellness activities and outings
• Transportation coordination
• Medication monitoring
• Extra time may be added by the tenant contractually to provide up to 28 hours of assistance per week

Your Community

The design of Rebekah Haven breaks each floor into two area neighborhoods, linked by a central commons. The "neighborhood" includes five apartments and its own central parlor. Tenants can choose the elevator or stairs between floors. Rebekah Haven is fully handicapped-accessible. Each of the four neighborhoods has a unique decorative theme. You'll also find porches, patios, and a gazebo to enjoy the outdoors. Inside each corridor, there's a bay window with a window seat, providing a pleasant inside spot for weather-watching, visiting with a friend or just a moment of pause.
	The central commons on our second floor offers an aviary for the bird watchers among us, a beauty and barber salon, a laundry and a pleasant dining room to enjoy your meals in. The first floor commons is where you find, the Lutsey Library for reading and conversation, a community room to enjoy cards, exercise, or visiting with friends.
